Situated
in picturesque North-East Victoria, the Myrtleford Savoy
Sporting Club can be found on the Great Alpine Road
in Myrtleford, the Gateway to the Alps.
Part of
the Ovens Valley, Myrtleford is noted for agriculture,
migrant culture, scenery, proximity to the snowfields
of Mt. Buffalo, Mt. Hotham and Falls Creek.
Tobacco,
once king of the crops, is being overtaken by viticulture,
and many local wineries have opened.
The Club
is in a garden setting just over Barwidgee Creek at
the entrance to town and is a family-friendly community
club, with Fine Food & Wine, Functions Rooms, Member's
Bar, Coffee lounge room and numerous sporting facilities.
