Circolo Trentino of Myrtleford & District

The Trentino region is located in the north of Italy and borders with Austria.Trentino is well known for its picturesque Dolomite Mountains and Lakes.

The Trentino Club of Myrtleford was formed in 1966 to gather together the migrants from Trentino on a social basis. Through its activities and events the Club continues to uphold Trentini traditions and values.

The club meets regularly with a committee base of 15 members and a membership base of around 100. The clubs main activities include a chestnut roasting day in April or May of each year and a Christmas celebration in December. its Annual General Meeting is held in July. Other events or trips are organized throughout the year.

The Savoy Ladies Group

The Savoy Ladies Group  was formed 27 years ago to meet and play Tombola every second Thursday. Our members are involved with Meals on Wheels and visiting the sick.

Everyone is welcome to attend and join in our social afternoons.

Gruppo Alpini - Myrtleford

The Gruppo Alpini Myrtleford was founded in 1986 by the late Bortolo Sguario, the first President. Today the Group consists of 17 Alpini members. Various activities are held by the Group during the year. We have a BBQ in January another  BBQ in mid may - Castagnata- (Chestnut Festival) and other Alpini Corp events.

The Alpini Corp was formed late in the 18th Century mainly from villagers of the Alpine regions of Italy as an elite Corp of the Italian army, to operate on high mountains.
The distinctive hat with the eagle's feather is part of the Alpini official uniform.
